La Quinta by Wyndham Grand Forks

Staff were friendly and helpful. Having the self serve laundry is great when traveling with a toddler. Great location and good breakfast. Coffee (lots of options) was available all day to fill up. Beds and pillows were soft and comfy. Room was spacious. We had the salt water pool area mostly to ourselves. The toddler pool and water slide were a perfect size for our little one. We saw a sign before using the pool that it’s currently in the process of being updated so we kept that in mind. We were still able to swim and enjoy it.

From the moment we arrived it was a peace of mind. The girls that confirmed our reservation were beyond helpful and so friendly! We needed a room close to the breakfast area and pool, we requested ahead of time. The girl I talked to at check in remembered talking to me and gave us the PERFECT ROOM! Very Accessible! We were so pleased, since my husband has trouble and uses a walking stick, for balance. Our daughter is special needs and it was extremely easy for her to get back and forth to our room. No complaints, we told this very sweet person we would come back again. Our trip up for a family members wedding was stressless thanks to her! ❤️ We will always stay at LaQuinta in Grand Forks when in GF.

The employees are friendly & efficient and the cleanliness of the hotel are the biggest draws. A nice surprise after the concert was 2 smiling employees greeting us in the lobby with complimentary water & cookies. Not too mention, the property is within walking distance to the concert venue. The friendly & busy manager could be found helping at the front desk at check in, helping at breakfast the next morning & cleaning floors as we left. He’s someone who cares about the business & the people he serves.

The front desk staff at check-in were friendly, professional and very helpful. The front desk staff at check-out were the exact opposite. Charging more for the room then our confirmed reservation which I had a copy of at check out. Caused us to have to preoceeed with claim with Booking.com who assisted us and rectified the matter. Extremely disappointed as we usually expect our check-out expenses to be what was agreed upon. If you use this hotel watch your bill like a hawk. On the good side facility was nice and clean and accomodations were quitre statisfactory

There was plenty of breakfast items to choose from and it was all very tasty. We have stayed at other La Quinta hotels in the past and have had the same experience. Loved it!
